The 'Original Nottingham Ghost Walk' was set up in 1993 and has been going strong ever since! We lead you around the older parts of the City near the Castle, where the street plan is almost 1000 years old, and tell you lots of fascinating ghost stories. Not just where ghosts haunt, but something of why they haunt and the different types of ghosts that exist. A bit of history, the odd gory execution, a graveyard (of course!). You may even encounter the real ghost who has been seen on several occasions during our tours!

STARTS: At The Salutation Inn, Maid Marion Way, Nottingham. This is easy to find - it is close to Nottingham Castle, which is signposted on major routes into the City. There are 3 multi-storey car parks within a few minutes walk, or street parking all around, if you can find a space!. To find The Salutation, use postcode NG1 7AA.

TIME: 7.00pm every Saturday - All Year, except December (last Ghost Walk for 2010 will be on Sat 4th Dec).

ENDS: in the haunted caves beneath The Salutation Inn!

DURATION: About 1 hr 15 mins (total distance walked - about ¾ mile)

COST: £4 adults (£5 from 01-04-10) - £3 children (under 12).
Family ticket: 2 adults & 2 children - £12 total (£13 from 01-04-10). (Broadly suitable for children of 9 or 10 yrs and above).

BOOKING: normally no need - just turn up on the night.  
Exception: Halloween is always Booking Only.

DISABLED ACCESS: most of the route is accessible for wheelchairs, except the caves for the last 10-15 minutes of the tour. There is a hill, though!
